Landscape and Nature Photography
Here you will find images of landscapes and the nature that inhabits them. Each photograph grows from an experience that evokes a personal response and the desire to capture something of what I have seen and felt. My photography is shaped by an appreciation of nature, a need to immerse myself in it, and a scientific curiosity grounded in my training as a physical geographer and hydrologist.
The world remains a beautiful place, and through these images I share the world as I experience it: a weaving of art and science, two disciplines that share a common purpose - to deepen our understanding of the natural world and inspire a greater appreciation for, and care of, the natural places and ecosystems that sustain us.
